Our family-owned local small business Fine Touch Window Cleaning is proud to announce that we will be extending our successful free gutter cleaning initiative that we started at the end of 2019.
We’ve received so much support and blessings from the community at large for the free service we’ve offered in previous months that my wife and I have decided to continue and extend the program.
Free Gutter Cleaning
We hope that by giving back to the communities we live and work in, we can motivate others to take the time to reach a helping hand to those in need.
My wife and I strongly believe that once others feel the overwhelmingly positive feeling that comes from doing good deeds, it will become contagious, spread, and bring communities together.
I strongly believe each one of us has a unique ability, talent, or skill that we can find the time to share with others.
When we can come together and use our gifts and abilities to help the community at large, we foster the type of positive neighborhoods and environments we can be proud to raise future generations in.
About the Program
I started the free gutter cleaning initiative as a way to provide a paid service we offer free of charge to those in need.
The free program is a way to give back to those who are struggling financially, or who are members of our community that are currently experiencing or have gone through a hardship.
Gutter cleaning can be a burdensome expense for those with limited incomes. Unfortunately, many lower-income families neglect to get their gutters cleaned because of the price point.
Some of the factors that go into a paid gutter cleaning quote have to do with the height of the gutters, their accessibility, amount of debris in them, and the distance to the service area.
Virtually every house (especially in the PNW) will eventually need its gutters cleaned out at a certain point to prevent clogged gutters causing expensive water damage to the home.
Knowing this, I realized that individuals with limited incomes can either sacrifice other necessities to pay for professional gutter cleaning or take a huge safety risk in doing it themselves.
I made the judgment that if someone were to call me for a gutter cleaning quote and then decline it based on affordability, that I would then offer them the service free of charge to help them out.
After doing a few jobs like this and seeing the response and how much it helped families, I decided to offer and expand the free gutter cleaning service to more of those who are in need.
Who Qualifies for the Program
In short, I don’t have restrictions on who can qualify for the free gutter cleaning service as long as they’re from either Clark County, WA, or Multnomah County, OR.
The above being said preferential services will be provided for the following groups of individuals.
- Cancer Patients
- Hospice Patients
- Terminally Ill
- Veterans
- Disabled
- Senior Citizens
- Low Income
- Facing other life challenges or hardships.
I hope that by at least alleviating the expense of gutter cleaning and sowing goodwill to the above-mentioned groups, that it can be one less thing they have to worry about in their lives.
I hope that any positivity I can bring them will help ease any possible burden and allow them to enjoy a genuine smile.
